I live in black leggings and I really don't care if other people don't like them. I work with kids and I'm constantly bending down, kneeling, sitting on the floor, sometimes climbing play equipment, running around etc- jeans are way too uncomfortable and restrictive, it is kind of frowned upon to wear shorts unless they are down around your knees (unflattering and hard to find with the current fashions), and even though I am very much a dress kind of girl, it isn't very professional to flash your undies at people, and maxi skirts are often more restrictive.

Black tights go with everything, easy to wash, cheap (I used to wear out the knees of jeans fairly quickly...I wear out tights but they're only about $10 to replace), and I'm going to make the most of the time I've got the figure to still pull them off.
