As a human being who is afflicted with Asperger's syndrome, a neurological anomaly that is hypothesized to be attributable to an abnormal abundance of Neanderthal genes, I feel insulted upon observing your insight on account of the fact that it appears to be an attempt to suggest that Neanderthals were less intelligent than human beings. I recognize that the offense that I take is defensive, reactive, and perhaps unreasonable, and may thus be an indicator of emotional insecurity. I should assess this potential emotional insecurity later and perhaps consult my therapist in relation to it.
