I suppose it's possible there is some deepfrozen Neanderthal ovary somewhere... but I read archaeological websites and magazines all the time and can't recall the discovery of a female neanderthal ever. But they've found all kinds of frozen mammoths so there could very well be a few frozen neanderthals somewhere that just haven't been discovered yet.
Point is though, like you said, they haven't been found yet!
Anyway, thanks for the comment :) I had the general knowledge that "Jurassic Park" cloning wasn't actually possible so I was wondering how it was possible from a scientific standpoint, and you explained it very well!
