When I first met Ryan Ross (my favourite guitarist, formerly of Panic at the Disco), the other fans waiting to meet him thought I was crazy. I brought him a basket full of childish things. It had a stuffed animal fox and a colouring book and crayons and silly putty and such. He was like 23 or 24 at the time. For the next month, he was posting pictures on Twitter that were him and that stuffed animal and pictures he had coloured from the colouring book and his band all had fun sculpting with the putty.
I was quite pleased with myself. I certainly decided more adults should carry around colouring books and crayons.
You better believe the next time I saw him was months later and he excused himself from a group of fans and came over to me and squished me into one of the best hugs of my life and told me thank you like four or five times.
