If one of your friends is gay, would you feel more free to physically interact with him (like touching, tickling, hugging etc)than you would have felt with any of your other straight male friends?
Depends more on the relationships between specific people than it does on people's sexual preference.
I think that I would be no less willing to touch a gay friend playfully in front of my husband, than a straight one.
And in the "reversed" situation, my comfort level doesn't depend so much on HER experience of it. It depends on HIS experience of it (or my estimation of that).
Whether I felt it was a transgression, would depend on who she was and all the relationships between us, far more than it would depend on her sexual orientation.
