Well it has to do with the comparison to the Abu Grhaib awfulness - which was explained by saying that the participants were bad apples, which really disturbed Zimbardo. We discussed the prison experiment in terms of nature/nurture because we were talking about whether or not everyone would become like that when given such power regardless of what type of person they were brought up to be.
