1. Why can't I pick both. It's almost been scientifically proven that neither option by themselves explains human nature.
2. I say about what you want to learn. For me, I am too poor to just fall back on what I want to study so I went for something that I could enjoy and make money at. If it was just about learning I'd be a perpetual student.
