Oh yeah, my body isn't perfect. I'm pear shaped (short legs, wide hips and big thighs), I have cellulite and my posture is horrible. Sometimes I look in the mirror and like what I see, and other times I'm really disappointed.
But then. I think about how my body is young and healthy. That I could be chronically ill, I could be in constant pain, or in a wheelchair. This body works perfectly, it does what it has to. It runs, sits, climbs stairs, etc. So who cares if it doesn't look perfect, really? And then I usually feel very grateful, and think I should handle it with more care. Like drink less, eat more healthily, work out more. Give it what it needs and deserves. Cause we have to work together, KWIM?
