It depends on other factors as well. If you are literally going home every weekend, you might as well live back at home. Also, could you save money by living with your parents? Are you parents happy for you to move back in? Would you sacrifice your social life if you live 2 hours away from school?
Scotland. Wales is great for hill-walking, which I'm not really into anyway, and not much else! Edinburgh is a great town and Scotland also has stunning scenery. I've been to both Scotland and Wales, and I thought Scotland was nicer.
I've never been to Ireland, but I'm not that fussed about going there.
