-1.I can speak French well enough.

-2.It would be more sensible for me to learn Arabic, as that's what my in-laws speak, along with French. Also Spanish ould be useful. But I'd like to learn Gaelic.My Grandmother spoke Gaelic, but my Father, the youngest of the family, never learned it beyond a few words, nor I think did the rest of the (numerous) children.

(I can follow Arabic a little, can understand a (very simple) conversation, but I can't speak it.)
