I think I'd be a little more of guard with a gay (male) friend, but I'm usually not overly concerned about physical contact with good friends. I'm clear about limits to make sure nothing goes into the area of sexual contact with a straight friend, maybe I'd be less clear with a gay friend. I don't know really, because I haven't been in that situation.
If I'd have a husband/boyfriend it'd all depend on him. If I'm confident enough he isn't easily seduced I really don't care about him hugging other girls, gay or straight. If I wasn't so secure I think I'd have more trouble with him touching straight friends than gay (female) friends.
