That's a cracked.com article that does a better job explaining it than I ever could. I was surprised when the article came out because it expressed a lot of my own personal views and then talked about 'nice guys' which I've personally met a few and then I tried online dating once and while that was hilarious, it was full of 'nice guys'. It was just really relevant to my life, which I liked. Obviously lol.
But I also think that unfortunately harsh things generally are uncomfortable, but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't hear them that way. Myself included, there's just things that if we hear them put in a less offensive way, we won't understand how big of an issue it is. I don't think that we need to hear everything that way, that would be needlessly harsh, but after a certain point there's only so many ways to get a point across that will work. And my opinion is that its better to hear something harsh if you can grow from it than to not hear it at all in order to spare feelings.
