WDYT?
I was snooping around on some of my friends' facebook pages and looking at what some of their friends, or in some instances, what they have named their kids born in the past few years up to a few months ago, and picked the ones that seemed the most 'different' to me:Girls:Paix AnneHadley PanaJovanna Evelyn (Evelyn is a name passed down at least once a generation in this family, I find that neat.)Treva Lacey-MaeLieve LindseyBoys:Lowden AbeCadfrawd Everet Zeke --
I was shocked at the diversity/oddness of these names,
what do you think about them?

Interesting selection!
Paix Anne - nice in theory, but I hope she's from a French-speaking country. I'd pronounce it more or less like 'peh' which doesn't come across too well in English.
Hadley Pana - not too keen on Hadley, but Pana is interesting. Apparently it's a place in Illinois, an Inuit god of the underworld, and possibly a word meaning 'snow knife' in Inuktitut.
Jovanna Evelyn - Jovanna is fairly inoffensive as anglicisations go, but Giovanna looks nicer to me. I'm not a fan of Evelyn, but I like passed-down names.
Treva Lacey-Mae - Treva is not so bad, but Lacey-Mae is horrible, imo.
Lieve Lindsey - agree that this is too much L, but Lieve might be nice with something else.
Lowden Abe - Loud-en? Low-den? Whatever, not liking it much.
Cadfrawd Everet Zeke - really interesting, at least to a Welsh name nerd. Cadfrawd would mean 'battle brother' - from cad, 'battle', and brawd, 'brother' but it isn't in use in Wales as a name, doesn't seem to have been used in at least the last 200 years, and the only reference to it I can find is to a Dark Ages saint who may or may not have existed. I'm guessing someone used it in a fantasy novel and that's where the parents found it. Either that, or they're medieval Welsh historians.

It's possible that Jovanna is a form of Jovana and pronounced with a Y.

Paix Anne- I think I like it.
Hadley Pana- Pana is alright, but I despise Hadley.
Jovanna Evelyn- Alright, especially with Evelyn being a family name.
Treva Lacey-Mae- nms.
Lieve Lindsey- Both names would be alright in different combos
Lowden Abe- Lowden? Really?
Cadfrawd Everet Zeke- I like Everet... Cadfrawd looks like cad-fraud or crawdad or something. Zeke is a total dog name to me unless it's a nn.

I agree, I really dislike the Lieve Lindsey one- To much of the same-but-not-the-same going on, I think.Cadfrawd.. is well awful, I believe they have more so started to call him Everet, but then why even bother having Cadfrawd as the first name? -- Treva Lacey-Mae has rather... 'country' type parents.
