Comments for AGHAVNI:
Somehow, although the "G" and the "H" together would normally put me off, this name appeals to me. I think the final "I" gives it spunk.-- lunalovegood 7/9/2007
Pronounced arh-AHV-nee, since in Armenian the 'gh' is pronounced like a French 'r': http://www.geocities.com/learn_armenian/pronunciation.html-- erb816 6/1/2009
It's a very pretty name, but since I'm American (not of Armenian descent), if I were to name my daughter this, everyone would probably caller her ah-GAHV-nee instead, and that would be annoying.-- erb816 6/1/2009
It's actually a pretty common name in my experience, but I like it. A friend of mine is thinking about naming her daughter this. In Armenian, it should be written as Աղավնի.-- Anonymous User 9/17/2009
