It rather looks like it's supposed to be pronounced ''a-LIE-sa''. It's not a terrible name, but the spelling looks a bit unintelligent.

In my opinion - I think the name, Alysa, is not so bad at all. But I do really like Allysa better because it's more beautiful and special name than Alyssa or Alysa. I'm so surprised there is no Allysa! :(
