Comments for BICH:
I will not name my daughter this! Bich can mean... you know... It's not good.-- Anonymous User 2/18/2006
It is pronounced "Beek".-- Yen_Yen 4/3/2006
The Chinese variant is Bic, worn by Kiwi singer/songwriter Bic Runga, who is of Chinese/Malay and Maori descent.-- Caprice 1/1/2007
Too close to the swear word. No.-- CharlieRob 8/30/2007
I agree with CharlieRob. This is just a weird name to name your child. Don't name your kid this. PLEASE.-- aquaspirit96 1/9/2008
For the sake of the child, please don't name him/her this name in an English-speaking country. It is spelled too close to the swear word and English speakers will probably pronounce it that way.-- LucyHugh 5/17/2008
It's pronounced like the pen, Bic. Or like bick.-- eeveeee 6/9/2008
From the Chinese 碧 or 璧.-- Anonymous User 7/13/2008
Pronounced Bích.-- Anonymous User 7/13/2008
WOW. I am surprised this is an actual name. If you plan on living in a country that has absolutely no one who speaks English and the child has no chance of coming into contact with English speaking people I would say go right ahead, but otherwise don't even think about it, it's practically child abuse.-- pandasayscynical 7/26/2008
Since it's transcribed, spelling it Bic or Bik would be more accurate and less obscene seeming.-- MoonAgeDaydreamer 3/11/2009
I like it. I know what it means, but I still like and by the way: How many Vietnamese people actually speak English? Come on, in their language it's a great name.-- enchy 8/8/2009
It may sound nice in Vietnamese, but in English it sounds too close to the word "bitch".-- bananarama 10/3/2009
