This is another name with many meaning possibilities. For example, "chi" can mean "wisdom/wise" or "thousand" and "ka" can mean "fragrance" or "song" or "beautiful". Similar principle goes for Chikako.

In response to the above poster, ka can also mean mosquito. Let's not get into that though.

Yes, "ka" is also the word for mosquito, but I've never heard of anyone using that kanji in a name.

It was used in a popular Manga/Anime called Ouran Kouko Hosutobu (Ouran Host Club). He was the brother of one of the main characters although Chika is just the nickname.

Chika can also mean 'basement' in Japanese.

Chika Ito is the name of a character in the anime/manga, "Ichigo Mashimaro" (Strawberry Marshmallow).
