Yep, the name Daisuke just happens to be the name of Daisuke Niwa from D.N. Angel. I love this name, as well! It's probably my favorite Japanese name, but I also really like the name Takashi.

I really like this name. I didn't used to but that's because I thought it was pronounced "day-SOOK-ay," but the real pronunctiation changed my mind. And after looking at some "suke" names, I've come to a conclusion. Does "suke" mean "help"? And as a Naruto fan, I'm wondering what Sasuke means.

I really like this name because I thought it was pronounced Die-sook-ee. I'm not sure about it though. A cute nickname would be Sukes. I used this name for a female character in a story.

Yes, *suke* in fact does mean 'assistance'. Sasuke can mean different things depending on the kanji used.

From what I can tell, *sa* could mean 'difference', or 'help'. But I'm not a native Japanese speaker, nor do I know of any other kanji for *sa* and their meanings.
