Darren is an awesome name for a boy. Very masculine and strong sounding. I have only known older men with this name but recently met a 6 year old with this name and thought wow that is great. I would love to see more young boys with this name.

Darren Wilson is the name of the drums/vocalist in a band called The Hush Sound (which I love, by the way). I think the name itself is quite nice as well.

I've only known Darrens that are girls (spelled differently). There's the newscaster Daryn Kagan and I have a girl in my class named Daryn. I've always liked it for a girl spelled Darrin.
