Comments for EUSTACE:
Eustace is a character in "Voyage of the Dawn Treader," "The Silver Chair," and "The Last Battle," three of C.S. Lewis's "Chronicles of Narnia."-- breakofday 12/30/2005
"You know you're a Narnia fan when you love and hate the name Eustace Clarence Scrubb at the same time." By the end of Dawn Treader, Eustace becomes a very likeable boy, and you feel sorry for him, having the name he does.-- Atarah Derek 7/14/2007
There's a small town in Maine called Eustis.-- Anonymous User 1/12/2006
I think it's rather unpleasant-sounding. In the words of C. S. Lewis, "There once was a boy called Eustace Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it."-- Marauder 12/7/2006
After reading The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I think of someone named Eustace (God forgive me for thinking this) as a real assh*le. Uh, yeah.-- property_of_Jesus 1/10/2007
Eustace does not sound like a strong name but, rather, makes me think of a cowardly person. Eustace was also a character on the cartoon "Courage the Cowardly Dog".-- Jasmine 2/28/2007
Very old-fashioned and ugly.-- slight night shiver 5/23/2008
Eustace Tilley, the famous drawing on the New Yorker.-- MoonAgeDaydreamer 1/17/2009
I would feel terribly sorry for any young teenage boy named Eustace.-- LittleMissWeekender 3/16/2009
I believe this is Ross Gellar from Friends' middle name. I can't remember why I know that.-- Rhona J 5/16/2009
Even before I read the Narnia books, I thought that Eustace was ugly, snobbish, pretentious, Victorian, and dated. I am so glad that no one names their sons Eustace anymore. The foreign forms of this name are much nicer, but most weird saint names don't work in English.-- bananarama 7/5/2009
One word: UGLY! I hate this name!-- -Julia- 8/17/2009
