Comments for FRIGG:
I love this name! I will definitely be calling my next child this!-- Anonymous User 8/16/2006
In fact, Frigg is correctly Norse Goddess of the moon, motherhood and marriage.-- audreyhubley 8/29/2006
Actually a lot of people believe the godesses Frigg and Freja to be the same, or at least here and there melted into one. It is assumed that the Swedish name for Friday (Fredag) is in honour of this godess.-- Anonymous User 12/20/2006
This is such a friggin' wierd name to call your kid.-- 7up 1/28/2007
Who the Frigg would name their kid Frigg now?-- Anonymous User 3/21/2007
Brilliant. I'm thinking triplets "Frigg, Fudge and Frick." Nothing more charming than naming children after a cover term for the F-Bomb.-- Anonymous User 6/3/2007
This is where the word "Friday" comes from. It's the day of Frigg.-- arrowhead909 7/27/2007
If you name your son this today, just make sure you never move to an English-speaking country. Come to think of it, he'd be very embarrassed to tell people his name even if he just visited one! The name sounds horrible anyway.-- slight night shiver 5/25/2008
Oh, it's a feminine name. Ah yeah, that just makes it worse: a masculine-sounding, ugly name on a girl, and a name that just so happens to have a nasty meaning in English! Very embarrassing for the girl, whether she lives in Norway and stays there for her entire life, or visits English-speaking countries. She could never live in one. Well, she could, but people would make fun of her behind her back.-- slight night shiver 5/25/2008
Luckily, not everyone wants to live in an English-speaking country, or even visit one.
I think Frigg is lovely name.-- Yippal 9/19/2009
