It's a better spelling and seems almost unique compared to the boring John spelling.-- Luangi 4/8/2007
I think this name is a newer form of John, and I like it a lot better. Every John that I know, has told me that when he or she (I have met one little girl named Jon Grace, but I wouldn't name my daughter Jon), has always misspelled their name when they were little. They spelled it Jonh, or Jon, simply because you don't even hear the H sound in the name, and it was hard for them to remember to put it in when they couldn't hear it. So I prefer Jon.-- Patricia Underwood 2/17/2008
Jon of Jon & Kate plus 8. His name is short for Jonathan. One of their sons (I believe it's Aaden) his name is Aaden Jonathan Gosselins, after his dad.-- Patricia Underwood 3/5/2008

I'm very much surprised that nobody's said anything about Jon Anderson, of the progressive rock band Yes! He's a rather famous bearer of this name, and when I think of the name Jon (as spelled without an H), I usually think of him.-- Pippin 7/8/2008
Jon looks boring and incomplete without the H, and it makes me think of Jon Gosselin.-- bananarama 9/16/2009
