Kah-ah-poh? Sounds Hawaiian (see below). Kay-poh? Sounds like "capo", a device used to raise the tone on stringed instruments. Kah-poh? Sounds like another "capo" which is short for "caporegime" -- the title given to certain high ranking members in Mafia crime families who head-up "crews" of so-called soldiers.

For interest, Kapo, is the Hawaiian goddess of fertility, sorcery and dark power and in the Hawaiian language, "ka apo" means "the circle" or "the embrace" (ka = the + apo = circle, embrace) while "ka'apo" means "the sweet potato"!
