Comments for KÁJA:
Kaja is not a given name. If someone's name is Karel (m), Karolina (f) or Karla so you can call him/her Kaja.-- Anonymous User 1/19/2006
Kaja is also a pet name of Kajetana. My Czech mother is called Kajetana and she passed her name onto myself, I am Slovakian. It is a very uncommon name and I believe it is derived from the Italian name Gaetano. He was made a saint and our name day is therefore celebrated on 10th August according to the Catholic Calendar. It is pronounced to rhyme with "Hiya".-- kajetana 12/13/2007
One word: ugly. For Central Europe residents: just think of Kája Gott (Czech pop singer) before you curse your child with this abomination of a name. Yes, and Anonymous is right, Kája is not an official name, just a pet name.-- that one 11/10/2009

I don't like this name. Probably because I know a really mean girl with the name. It also sounds funny. My mom and I have a joke that goes like this "I gotcha Kaja!" A name you should NEVER name you child.-- Julianna_Rose 3/30/2006
