Comments for PEDRO:
I LOVE this name! It's extremely sophisticated!-- LindsayHansen 4/26/2005
I wouldn't use it as a first name in the U.S. because it's too connected/associated with the movie Napoleon Dynamite.-- mariej2 5/14/2005
Aside from Napoleon Dynamite's Pedro (the movie popularized the "Vote for Pedro" shirts that have been growing more common), there's also a one man band called Pedro the Lion.-- WeloveyouJesseLacey 5/24/2005
People with the name Pedro are kind, handsome, and possess talent (music?). Also, they never give up.-- Anonymous User 5/25/2005
I don't like this name, but a important peson is Pedro Almodovar. He's the most internationally acclaimed Spanish filmmaker. He's an Oscar winner for "All about my Mother".-- Keira_111 3/27/2006
I don't like this name very much, but it is sooo popular in Brazil.-- dreamgirl54 11/18/2007

Pedro Alvares Cabral founded Brazil in 1500.
Pedro was the name of five Portuguese kings.-- soraya 4/1/2008
Actually, it's pronounced Pêdro. Like "Ê" is like how you say shit. You say something like shêt, and not shít, right? That's actually the sound you should make when saying Pedro. I know it's not the best of examples, but it's the only one I can think of right now. XD
By the way, my name is Pedro and I am Portuguese, so I actually know how to pronounce it. :)-- pedrotome 6/30/2009
