I love my name! I used to hate it but as I grew up I fell in love with it. It's actually really common in Portugal, normally as a second name (Maria Raquel, Júlia Raquel, Filipa Raquel, and my very own Ana Raquel).

I love the name Raquel. It's my middle name (Bárbara Raquel), and I think it's wonderful not only as a middle name, but also as a first name. I would name my daughter Raquel.

Raquel is my middle name and I HATE it. It doesn't help that my first name is Gabrielle, either: Gabrielle Raquel. UHG! It rhymes way to much. I wish my name was "Gabrielle Hyacinth". That would be so cool. Also, the name Raquel makes me think of some sleazy lady.
