I'm not a fan because it reminds me of the children's book publisher Scholastic. I guess they both come from the same source, but still.

I wouldn't name a kid this. I'm sure that they'd be teased, and people may not take them seriously. It really does sound like the publishing company. When I first saw it, I didn't even think it was a real name.

When I first saw it it reminded my of the word 'scholar' but when I tried to pronounce it, it sounded like the publishing company.

I don't care for this name. It sounds like the publishing company and the words "scholar" and "elastic". Plus, I find it way too religious.
