Ji Yong, a Korean songwriter, producer, singer, and rapper, who is part of the band, Big Bang, is also known as G-Dragon, his stage name. His stage name is derived of "Ji" which sounds like "G" and the second part of his name, "Yong," means dragon in Korean.
