Ace is more of a dog name considering I had a relative with a Boston terrier called Ace that had brain cancer... everyone knew his name. I miss that doggo. So Ace is very special to me, but I like it on dogs.
For anyone that makes assumptions, Aideen has ZERO connection with Aiden and Aidan. They mean completely different things and come from different roots, so Aideen is not exactly a feminine form of Aiden.
I used to like it, now I’m getting kind of bored of it. There isn’t too much in it and too many people have the name. Like excessive amounts. I know more Alexs than I do of both boy and girls top 10 names. Each gender! It’s ridiculous!
Sorry to all Alexandra’s, it’s not you, it is just my personal feeling about the name. There are five Alexandras in my grade. One in the grade above me. One in the grade lower. It’s ridiculous!I don’t find this that unique, either. I’m just bored of it and I don’t want to hear it so much anymore considering how common it is.But it’s very versatile. All five Alexandras surprisingly go by different names in the grade, thank god. Ali, Lexi, Alex, Xandra and Sandy. However, it’s not a name that I would pick out of the jar because it’s too common and I don’t want six in my grade. It’s not a horrible name at all, all the Alexandras I met were awesome people, however, it just doesn’t suit all people the same.
I’m not a big fan of Alison. What’s so special about it? I know more Alisons than Emmas, Isabellas, Sophias, etc. (not my point though) I just don’t think this is unique.
Remember that this name is Armenian and not an English name, and nobody really uses it in English speaking areas. I find this name super nice, in my opinion!
This is such an elegant name. I can’t get over the fact they made a variant called Amelia which exploded. I also can’t get over the fact how PRETTY this is. Amalia is mature and it is dignified. I am considering to use this name.
Amelia is youthful and beauteous. I mean, you can’t go wrong with Amelia.Personally, I prefer Amalia. It has a gorgeous aspect and is a little more mature. It is less common and you can’t go wrong with Amalia either.I still love Amelia. I recommend it, as some people are very content with it.
I wish it were pronounced STA-zee instead of STAY-zee. Although it reminds me of anesthesia, I think it sounds quite pretty and has a powerful meaning! Pretty!
SUPER common name in the Catholic religion, I know so many! Particularly common in Chaldean families (Arab Christians) this name is very popular where I live, but it sounds nice overall.
It seems very masculine with the sound and look, but is now supposedly feminine thanks to Disney. I like it on a boy. Arielle is stunning for a girl, though.
To the commenter who said this was an anagram for ass, it actually can’t be. There’s two As and one S. The anagrams are Aas and Saa. By the way, this name is quite nice.
I’m not European at all but I love this name! It reminds me of astro as in space and the beautiful, dark, zero-gravity outer earth with all the planets! It has that magical spark, but I can’t put my finger on it. This name is flawless.
I had a previous comment a lil while back (that I anonymized) in which I liked it. Now I’m kind of changing... what is so special about it? It’s a little bland in my opinion although it doesn’t sound bad. I just think there could be more names to use. Also, expect the Ava D and Ava Z thing.
Name your girl with this edgy name. I mean it means female baker and has the annoying trend -XT. There isn’t anything wrong with it? -_- many other names in life than this.
Sorry, I’m in the minority. It’s handsome but it’s easy to lose interest in it. It’s very common and biblical but I dislike the sound to it. And the nicknames Ben and Benny are awful. Most of the Benjamins I met were nice.
I guess the Manx pronunciation isn’t as bad as the English one. Either way, this name looks and sounds so childish. I also dislike almost every B name.
The Hebrew/Arabic pronunciation is KEH-lib. Before I found this site, I thought this name sounded like dog, which now I know it did. Arabic takes up a lot of space in this world, and since I can speak it, I would laugh just calling Caleb with my voice. I mean, it CLEARLY means dog. I will not use this name, and this is all personal; all you Calebs are amazing people!
Hey guys, I’m calling my kid bald. I mean it’s the greatest meaning I totally couldn’t have used such a prettier name or better meaning because this is what my child will be stuck with forever -_-
I have Lebanese relatives with this name, their kids are Marc and Christelle (Lebanese people speak French predominantly) and I found this name very interesting!
