Cherokee

Cherokee is a Native American language spoken by the Cherokee people. Before the arrival of Europeans the Cherokee lived in the southeastern United States, but during the 19th century a large portion relocated to Oklahoma.

Cherokee is a member of the Iroquoian language family.
