Devangari Alphabet

The Devangari is the alphabet (technically abugida) used to write several Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Kashmiri and Sanskrit.

The Devangari is derived from the Brahmi alphabet, which was descended from the Aramaic alphabet, which was descended from the Phoenician alphabet.
