Judeo-Spanish

Judeo-Spanish (also called Ladino or Judezmo) is a Romance language that developed in the Sephardic Jewish communities in medieval Spain. After the Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492 the language spread to other Sephardic communities around the Mediterranean.
