Literature

Literature is all written works: novels, poetry, drama.

Many common given names have come from literature. Names like Miranda, Jessica, Wendy, and Galadriel were invented by authors. In other cases the name was not created by the author, but the popularity of the name was influenced by the popularity of the book.
