Maya

Maya (also called Classic Maya) was a Native American language which was used during the era of the Maya civilization. It was written with Maya hieroglyphics.

The descendents of Classic Maya are the Mayan languages, a language family of Mexico and Central America. This family includes Yucatec Maya.
