Redirected from TamazightThe Berber languages are a group of closely related Afro-Asiatic languages and dialects spoken in Morocco and Algeria.
The term Tamazight is used generally to refer to the languages as a whole as well as specifically to refer to one of the main languages in the group (also called Central Atlas Tamazight). Other Berber languages include Tarifit (Riffian), Taqbaylit (Kabyle), Tashelhit (Shilha) and Tamasheq (Tuareg).
