I've been fascinated by names for as long as I can remember. I've been collecting them for years now, for characters, for pets, and hopefully someday, for my own children.
It's interesting the sort of lasting impressions a name can leave on us. Personally, I think no matter what a name is supposed to mean, ultimately it's the individual that shapes it's true meaning. As for me, I prefer names that leave an impression of softness and kindness. I don't think there's anything wrong with being creative... or a little old fashioned. It's all deeply personal.
