Ágnes

Not a fan of Ágnes. I was born and raised in Hungary where Ágnes is a very popular name. Not so much anymore, but I still know a bunch of ladies with the name of Ágnes of all ages. Ágnes looks and sounds masculine and harsh, and it doesn’t flow well. The nicknames Ági and Ágica are hideous too. One positive thing about Ágnes is that it’s an internationally well known name, easy to spell and pronounce. That’s about it though. In a lot of countries Agnes is considered to be a very dated, ugly name.

I love the pronunciation.

Agnes would be much better.

Way prettier of a pronunciation than Agnes is.

Sounds much prettier than the American pronunciation of "Aahgness".
