Acantha's gentle beauty touches the soul.

When I first came upon this name, I fell in love with it but was deterred by negative comments. The meaning 'thorn' isn't bad at all: if you're anything like a flower, you are pure and innocent, but you have flaws, just like everyone else. I think Acantha is a wonderful name.

This reminds me too much of acanthamoeba, which is a parasite that attacks the eyes. I do like the sound of the name though.
