I disagree. It's not the worst variant but it's a very beautiful and exotic name in my opinion. That Ai- part is look like Japanese name means "love" but also from beginning word for Aik- from Greek word aikia means "torture". Please stop offending some names because it's hurtful and offensive. I respect some names that have different spelling.

This is quite gorgeous, if a little bit of a mouthful. I prefer it strongly over the pretty but boring Katherine.

I've seen this name a few times, but if a Greek girl is going to be called a Katherine variant, it's way more likely that she'll be called Katerina. In case someone wants to call a modern Greek character this.
