I've only met girls with this name, and I've met a few because there's a lake called Ainslie a ways away from where I live which people, generally with family out in the country, name their children after. I quite like it, it's very soft and pleasant. I think of it as sort of a less overused Ashley. I suppose I could see it on a boy as well.
