Aldéric Laurendeau (1890 – 1961) was a Canadian politician and physician.
Aldéric-Joseph Benoit (1877 – 1968) was a Canadian politician. He was elected to the House of Commons of Canada as a Member of the Liberal Party in 1922 to represent the riding of St. Johns—Iberville. He was re-elected in 1925 and 1926.
Pronounced al-DE-reek. This is an extremely uncommon name in France, but I think it's quite handsome :)
To the person that said it's uncommon in France, it's mainly used in Quebec so that's probably why.
Well, it's not very French, more Germanic and sounds like a comic strip name. Cool and funny, but I wouldn't recommend it as a proper name.
