I can't believe I actually met a girl with this name. She even pronounces it ə-LEHK-see. This male to female trend needs to stop.

My Dad has this name. I like it much, it sounds noble but with a touch of softness.

I know it's a boy's name, but when it's pronounced, it sounds like Alexi (aka, a girl's name). Although one of the boy's in my class had this name. I guess the name is ok, but it just sounds feminine. Not that I'd ever give it to a daughter of mine.
