Not bad, though it will take me a second to pronounce it correctly. However, I would use a nickname.
Good in fiction, bad as an actual given name.
Interesting to say the least.
What in the world?! This name is so weird. Amala is the name of a dish where I'm from, so calling a girl this would be weird to me. I don't like this name.
It is a beautiful name. A lady going by Amala, instead of the full name would suit well also.
I love this name as a villain in a story. The villain in "Walking Across Cornwall", the book I am writing, was going to be John, or something ridiculously boring, but a nurse (he is a doctor) will definitely be named Amalasuintha. Wouldn't use it on a child, though.
It's actually a pretty name to hear/say. But it's awfully long, and not very practical now.
Interesting name. Not bad, actually.
