Comments for the name Amaury

This is a really old French name but I kind of like it.

Yuck! This name reminds me of Maury Povich. It sounds too old-fashioned, and I normally like a lot of old-fashioned French names.

I remember this episode of Maury Povich where this ghetto black woman was getting paternity tests for her daughters, and their names were both inspired by Maury himself's name. (Maurycia, La'mauria) or something. It was horrible and I seriously don't think she is fit to be a parent. Then again, most people on there probably aren't.
