Ambrosine

Sounds like the name of a chemical to me.

I once knew of a girl called Amber, and was surprised to learn that Amber was merely a nickname and that her full name was Ambrosine. I thought the name was gorgeous, and I found Amber to be a clever nickname. Great name.

Lovely and sophisticated, much better than the over-used Amber.

I think this is a really nice name but I'd rather use it as it as a second (middle) name. :)

It's a pretty name, but I can't picture a kid growing up with this--it's too harsh.

An elegant and luxurious name, it brings to mind a woman with great presence. an especially good name for a character in a book.
