This is my name, and since I live in the U.S, 90% of the people I meet cannot get it correct. If you are going to give this name to your child, get used to them getting called something like:
Emily
Amelia
Amee-lee-ay
Amalia
Ay-mi-lee
Amy
If you're not in a french-speaking country, your kid will have to deal with this their entire life.

Amélie is a gorgeous strong name. I would happily use it, first or middle name, preferably with the accent, but Amelie is still good. I very much prefer it to Amelia.
Um… I just wanted to say that Amélie is not a Miraculous Ladybug name, it is Amelie instead (go and search up the Miraculous Ladybug Wiki Fandom, you’ll see it’s Amelie, not Amélie). This name is not my favourite, but it’s still a very nice name! Be proud if you have this name. It’s not as common as Amelia, but not as dull as Kathy.
I think it's a beautiful name, and one of my friends is called Amelie, (without the é) but people who have just met her always think her name is Amelia or Emilie if they've only seen it written down and that would be annoying. But that's also one of the reasons I like it because Amelia is a pretty name, but it's SO overused, and Amelie holds the same charm while being more unique.
MMMMmmmmm... Audrey Tautaou.
When I first saw this name, I thought it was pronounced aim - mah - lee. I then was told that was wrong, and that the French pronunciation is Ah -mah - lee. Now, I can't see it the other way as well. But I constantly will spell it Amalie. Amelie is just... a bit different. I love this name, but prefer Anelie.
I love this name! Far better than Amelia in my eyes.
A beautiful name, but is very common, as lots of parents have probably watched the great movie "Amelie".

This name is very similar to mine, Amelia, but it is the French version. I love this name but in England it is often confused with the more-popular Emily. However all these names come from the same "family" and in my, biased, opinion, they are all beautiful!
