It's starting to grow on me. Although I would NEVER use it for a son, it's so unique for a story character. Maybe I'll write a book with the name Angelino.

"A" is as in "Father." "G" basically equals "Gel," or otherwise "J." For "E," think along the lines of "Eh," or very close to "Aye." Stress your "I" into "EE." "No" is as usual.

A feminine form, ANGELINA, also exists. It's much more common. It's pronounced ahn-kheh-LEE-nah ("kh" it's a hard kind of "h" sound, like in "hot").
