Anna Pavlova is a Russian born artistic gymnast who later competed for Azerbaijan. Competing for Russia, she won two bronze medals with the team and on the vault at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Competing for Azerbaijan, she is the 2014 European silver medallist on vault. She is well known for her balletic style and clean technique. She is trained by her mother Nataliya Evgenevna Pavlova. Her best events are the Balance Beam and Vault. Pavlova first emerged on the international gymnastics scene in 2000, winning a gold medal on the uneven bars at the Junior European Championships.
