User comments for Aoibhín (Meaning / History Only)

Aoibhín isn't a variant of Aoibheann. It's a diminitive of Aoibhe. It means "little Aoibhe", while Aoibheann means "beautiful sheen". -ín is a dimintive suffix in Irish, like -y in English.
