Aron is one of Adam's sons in Steinbeck's East of Eden. It was originally Aaron, but he dropped the second 'a' because it was too fancy. He is one of the Abel characters.

Aron Trask, the name of one of the main characters in the book and movie "East of Eden" by Steinbeck. He is named Aaron but drops the extra A as a young child and is called Aron for the rest of the book, he also uses it on official documents so most likely legally changed it. He's the twin brother of Caleb "Cal" Trask.
